Programs

CLC offers a number of residential options for adults with developmental disabilities.

In keeping with it’s mission statement of “providing the finest possible programs”, we have developed a number of programs in response to the individual needs and wishes of its consumers.

In broadest terms, the first question to be asked is whether or not the individual requires supports or supervision for 24 hours per day to remain safe in his/her home.

If the answer to this question is “yes”, we would look toward opportunities in the supervised sites.  Conversely, if the individual does not require 24 hour supervision and supports to be safe we would look among our supported sites.

CLC operates approximately 39 residential locations in total. Each provides supports and assistance designed specifically to meet the needs of the individuals who live there. The composition of the individual sites varies by the wishes and wants of the people who live there as well as the more obvious issues such as medical needs, gender, age, social skills, independence, and general competence in navigating the everyday environment.

We currently provide a wide range of small programs including specialty programs for people with Prader-Willi Syndrome, a program for older women, another for those with more intense medical needs, those with dual diagnoses, and programs for several married couples with developmental disabilities.

While ensuring that no consumer becomes lost within the CLC community, we pride ourselves in providing individually tailored programs designed to meet needs of each consumer.
